Mission Bend Municipal Utility District No. 1 is currently rehabilitating fire hydrants throughout the District as part of its ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and reliable water system.
This routine maintenance helps ensure fire hydrants are in good working condition and ready for use by emergency responders when needed.

What Residents Can Expect
During the project, residents may notice work crews servicing fire hydrants throughout the neighborhood.
Most work will not interrupt water service. However, brief periods of low water pressure or temporary water outages may be necessary in limited areas. If planned service interruptions are required, affected residents will be notified whenever possible.
After hydrant maintenance, some homes may experience temporary discolored water. This is caused by harmless mineral sediment being stirred up in the water mains. If this occurs, simply run cold water from a faucet for several minutes until the water clears before using it for drinking, cooking, or laundry.
The District appreciates your patience as this important maintenance is completed. Regular hydrant rehabilitation helps keep the water system reliable and ensures hydrants are ready to protect our community in the event of an emergency.
